An accomplished singer/songwriter, Jason’s songwriting endeavors have earned him immediate success and accolade among his peers and contemporaries. With commanding stage presence and a knack for connecting with his audience, his success as a performing artist is flourishing. From performances to small audiences of 100 in venues such as Nashville’s Bluebird Café, to larger venues — fairs and festivals around the country with crowds of up to 10,000 people — his gift for connection with his fans is only matched by his confidence on stage and his velvety-smooth vocal charm.
Jason is the winner of many local and regional competitions, earning the Male Vocalist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year two years running from South Plains College in Levelland, Texas and Songwriter of the Year in 2008. In 2009 he won the Puckett’s “Rising Star” best new artist competition in Franklin, TN. Jason is co-owner of GuitarVocalDemo.com, a demo creation company offering their services throughout the United States and Canada.
Hailing originally from Washington State by way of west Texas, Jason and his family now reside just southwest of Nashville, TN. In early 2009 Jason partnered up with Nashville Producer Matt Rovey. Matt is an accomplished studio engineer working with artists like Alan Jackson, Zac Brown Band and Billy Currington just to name a few. Jason released his debut project, "Taking My Time" in May, 2010.
Jason is also the lead singer for The Lost Trailers. He and Stokes Nielson partnered up earlier this year after a successful songwriting session. They quickly became friends and started collaborating together as The Lost Trailers. The first single, "Underdog" is releasing to radio September 19th amid a flurry of great reviews and interviews.
